Aside from the use of biodegradable cleaning products, the resort uses environmentally-friendly fabrics and recycles organic waste to generate compost conditions. A waste management plan has also been approved by local authorities. This includes replacing
small, one-portion packages with bulk products to create less waste and use less trash bags, and appointing a hazardous waste manager who is in charge of collecting printer, toner, and photocopiers. Vegetable oil is also recycled and reused.
An awareness campaign has been started by placing posters of good environmental practices in different areas of the hotel. A Green Book has also been developed, where guests are invited to participate in caring for the environment through the development
of sustainable activities.
